Storage Policies
The following are general guidelines and policies. Please refer to your storage rental agreement for a complete list of policies. It will contain the entire agreement for storage.

General:
  • Read and understand your rental agreement fully. Ask your property manager any questions you may have.
  • Pay rent prior to or on due date to avoid additional charges and prevent losing your stored goods to a lien sale.
  • Sign up for auto pay, it’s convenient and eliminates late charges.
  • Keep unit locked at all times. You are ultimately responsible for the goods you have stored and for providing own insurance for all personal items stored in leased unit.
  • Provide current and accurate contact information. In the event of a change in information, inform your facility manager immediately.
  • Give at least 10 days notice of move out to avoid paying additional fees or rent.
  • Smoking and the use of alcohol is prohibited at the storage facility.
  • When vacating leave unit as you rented it, clean and unlocked. Remove ALL personal items and trash to avoid cleaning or disposal fees.
Prohibited Items:
  • Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia
  • Explosives
  • Flammables of any kind (gas, diesel, kerosene, oil, paint, etc.)
  • “Hazardous Substances” of any kind as deemed so under any federal, state or local law
  • Lawn equipment or other machinery should be drained of any hazardous substances prior to storing.
  • Tires
  • Stolen Items
  • Never store live or dead animals, perishables or combustibles.
  • Avoid storing liquids of any kind.
  • Moth balls or items that produce odors of any kind
  • Any item deemed inappropriate by manager or staff of the facility
  • Any item which detrimentally affects other tenants or facility
Prohibited Uses:
  • Playing of any type of musical instruments
  • Using unit as a residence or sleeping quarters
  • Garage sales, auctions, flea market sales or other public sales
  • Working in the unit. This includes working on cars, motorcycles, hobbies, crafting, etc.
  • Any illegal use of any kind
  • Any use deemed inappropriate by manager or staff of facility
